The automobile market of Uzbekistan has great potential and is full of opportunities. Currently, there are more than 4 million cars in the country. According to statistics for 2023, 327 thousand passenger cars were produced in the country. There is a demand for high-quality automotive parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension components to ensure the reliability and performance of vehicles. With the government's focus on modernizing the country's infrastructure, there is a need for new vehicles, including commercial vehicles, buses, and construction equipment. Taking into account the growing number of electric vehicles (according to the statistics for 2023 year, 22,490 cars were imported) in the Uzbek market, there is a need for spare parts for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Parallel to Automechanika Tashkent, an exhibition for the truck, bus and commercial vehicle sector – Futuroad Expo Tashkent, the Tashkent International Auto Show and Scalex Tashkent will be held.
