Many of them are world premieres! We spoke to some of the winners of the Automechanika Innovation Awards as well as other promising innovative companies and asked them what their most important innovation is.
A total of 153 new technological solutions were submitted for the Innovation Awards - divided into nine categories. Including two new categories this year: Electromobility & Innovative Drive Technologies and AI & Digitalisation, which accounted for around 20 percent of submissions. There were only more submissions in the Workshop & Service Solutions and Parts & Innovative Technologies categories, which received more than half of all entries. The remaining entries were spread across the other categories of Data & Connectivity, Body & Paint, Car Wash & Care and Commercial Vehicles. The international jury also presents a Green Award for particularly sustainable development.
The winners of the Innovation Awards
