First place went to Whilx Technologies. The start-up is developing a deep-tech platform for the autonomous optimisation of tyre pressure. The technology combines real-time tyre data with intelligent optimisation approaches and aims to improve safety, energy efficiency, tyre wear and the overall performance of vehicles.
Second place went to repareo. With OSCAR, the Munich-based company offers a digital operating system for garages. Among other things, the platform combines online appointment booking, calendar management and DMS integration, and helps garages to automate administrative processes, plan capacity more efficiently and tap into additional lead channels.
Alongside Whilx and repareo, other companies presented themselves as part of the Start-up Competition:
- CARA 8 offers an AI-based operating system for service and after-sales processes in car dealerships and garages.
- ChargeBIG develops scalable charging infrastructure with a centralised system and intelligent load management for multiple electric vehicles parked simultaneously.
- Getminds.ai uses AI-based synthetic target audience panels to make qualitative market and target audience insights available more quickly.
- Willidrop is digitising vehicle transport in Europe with an AI-powered platform for dispatch, carrier matching, pricing and tracking.
- WrenchLane develops AI-powered workflows for diagnostics, maintenance and repairs in the automotive aftermarket.
- Edelschrauber offers an AI-powered platform that supports garages with diagnostics, service processes and quick access to technical knowledge.
- GetCarl is developing a digital assistant for car dealerships and garages that handles incoming calls and messages and coordinates appointments and enquiries.
Jury
A panel of experts comprising representatives from the mobility, automotive and innovation sectors assessed the pitches. The focus was particularly on the level of innovation, relevance to the future of mobility, feasibility and market potential of the solutions presented.
The PIONEER AWARD – Start-up Competition offers young companies the opportunity to present their technologies and business models to an expert audience comprising industry representatives, SMEs, investors and the media. The solutions presented clearly demonstrated the importance of artificial intelligence, data integration, automation, energy efficiency and digital workshop processes for the mobility sector.
