The 18th edition of Motobike Istanbul, held from 22 to 25 April 2026, took place alongside the debut of Eurobike Istanbul. Together, 174 exhibitors representing more than 500 brands showcased their latest products, attracting over 148,000 visitors. An all-time visitor record, which underlines that the organisers’ concept has paid off. The leading bicycle trade fair, Eurobike, is expanding its portfolio with Eurobike Istanbul, thereby taking a further step towards the internationalisation of its trade fair brand.

Opening ceremony with a ribbon-cutting on the exhibition stage

The trade fairs were officially opened with speeches by the Turkish Minister for Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and the Deputy Minister of the Interior, Ali Çelik. On the same day, the “Turkey Bicycle Declaration” was unveiled – the country’s first national strategy paper on cycling policy, which sets out a strategic vision for positioning cycling as a key element in the fields of transport, health and climate protection.

“We have a strong production capacity and infrastructure in the bicycle and motorcycle sector; with our investment incentives, we have paved the way for 106 projects of motorcycle and bicycle industry companies with an investment volume of 16 billion liras.”

Across the exhibition grounds, industry leaders highlighted the sector’s rapid development – from the expansion of production capacities to the growing global potential of electric bicycles and motorcycles. A special panel discussion on cycling addressed topics such as infrastructure, safety and financial incentives in depth.

“We are proud to organize Eurobike's first fair in Turkey. Our goal is for this fair to grow even more every year and for Istanbul to become the regional meeting point of the international bicycle sector. With this fair, we are starting a journey; we invite you all to be a part of this journey.”

Custom-made and record-breaking motorcycles exhibited in the fairground attracted great attention. While the Bimota Tesi H2, one of the fastest hyper motorcycles in the world with its legendary supercharged engine, exhibited at the Kawasaki stand, fascinated performance enthusiasts; the Lamborghini concept model, among the most expensive motorcycles in the world located at the TT Custom stand, became the center of attention for visitors.

In the organization that brought together the pioneers of both industries, world giants such as Ducati, KTM, Vespa, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Triumph, Peugeot, KYMCO, Husqvarna, SYM Motors, and BMW Motorrad (Kosifler Oto) made a splash on the Motobike side; while on the Eurobike side, the leading brands of the bicycle sector such as Salcano, Corelli, Aslı Bisiklet, Ümit Bisiklet, and Kron showcased their most innovative products.

With record attendance, strong business relationships and the launch of a national policy initiative, Motobike Istanbul and Eurobike Istanbul have demonstrated that two-wheeled mobility is gaining importance as a central pillar of future transport.
