Intelligent Manufacturing and Future Trends Take the Spotlight at AAG Guangzhou

29 Aug 2025

The sky above Guangzhou is ablaze with colour – specifically, the colours of the logos of Sinomachint and Messe Frankfurt, the two organisers of Automotive Aftermarket Guangzhou, or AAG for short. From 27 to 29 August, the anniversary edition attracts industry leaders, exhibitors and buyers from all over the world to China. Over the past ten years, AAG has developed into one of the most influential trade fairs in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

This year’s edition, held under the theme “Intelligent Manufacturing, Harnessing Changes, Connecting the Future”, signals growth on multiple fronts. Occupying 80,000 square metres across seven halls—14 percent more than the last edition—the show features 1,781 exhibitors, a 17 percent increase, all eager to showcase the latest in parts, components, electrics, electronics, customisation and driving services. In addition, approximately 30 fringe programme  events will be held during the show, providing a solid base for knowledge exchange and collaboration within the industry.

Intelligence drives momentum

Industry players such as ADD Industry, Antu’an, BRTEC Wheel Hub, CITIC, eBay, Frey, GSK, GSP, Kingston, MTI Engine and many more are presenting cutting-edge innovations. Their presence highlights how intelligence and advanced technologies are reshaping the automotive aftermarket and accelerating the region’s growth.

Transforming and renewing: resphaping automotive culture

One of the most talked-about highlights is the UTS Customisation Salon in Hall 2, where the culture of automotive modification comes to life. Interactive displays, modified cars designed by top-tier customisation specialists, and forums like the Sino-foreign Automotive Modification Culture Exchange Salon put the spotlight on creativity and the evolving role of customisation in the aftermarket ecosystem.

To commemorate the 10th edition, visitors are treated to a special display: a one-of-a-kind modified car designed by celebrated Japanese artist Yoshitaka Amano, the illustrator behind the iconic Final Fantasy video game series. The piece reflects how personalisation and self-expression are becoming central to automotive culture.
